Rusko potvrdilo, že ukrajinský dron zasiahol dôležitú ropnú rafinériu v Riazani, pričom štátne médiá priniesli aj zábery z miesta incidentu. Moskva totiž zvyčajne nezverejňuje takéto zábery, v tomto prípade však venovala väčšiu pozornosť útoku, ktorý americký prezident Donald Trump označil za „hanbu“.
Ukrajina často útočí na ropné rafinérie, pričom úrady tieto ruské údery zvyčajne opisujú iba ako zásahy proti „priemyselným podnikom“. Tamojší gubernátor však pri štvrtkovom útoku okamžite potvrdil, že ide práve o túto rafinériu, ktorá patrí medzi najväčšie v Rusku. Po prvýkrát od začiatku vojny štátna televízia zverejnila aj následky zásahu, píše Reuters.
V krátkej reportáži ukázal kanál Rossija-24 závod v Riazani, z ktorého stúpal menší stĺp čierneho dymu. Britská agentúra uvádza, že Moskva sa snaží úder čo najviac zveličiť, keďže sa odohral štyri dni po tom, čo americký prezident Donald Trump oznámil energetické prímerie medzi Ukrajinou a Ruskom. Kyjev prekvapila správa o prímerí a Moskva sa k tomu odmietla vyjadriť.
Ukrajina pozastavila údery na tri dni po Trumpovom vyhlásení, ale následne ich obnovila, keďže Rusko aj naďalej útočilo na energetickú infraštruktúru. Trump toto rozhodnutie označil za „hanbu“ a v rozhovore pre stanicu Newsmax povedal, že „nie je veľkým fanúšikom“ ukrajinského prezidenta Volodymyra Zelenského.
„Nie, nie som žiadny veľký fanúšik Zelenského. Zničili krajinu,“ povedal. S Putinom sa mu vraj rokuje lepšie.

Podľa Trumpa sa konflikt začal za exprezidenta Baracka Obamu, keď sa Ukrajina musela vzdať polostrova Krym. „Krym je zďaleka najhodnotnejšia časť Ukrajiny. Je to Čierne more. Zo štyroch strán oceán. Najkrajší kúsok zeme. Som realitný developer, spoznám dobrú pôdu,“ pochválil sa Trump.
